Miley Cyrus teases new era with 'Something Beautiful' artwork
Her last album was 'Endless Summer Vacation' in 2023
It's just over two years since Miley Cyrus released her sun-soaked album 'Endless Summer Vacation', featuring hits such as 'Flowers' and 'Jaded'.
Now, the singer has started to tease a new era, sharing some dark artwork and revealing to fans the new album's name, along with a black and white backlit photo of the singer.
What is Miley Cyrus' new album called?
The new album is called 'Something Beautiful'. Miley has already changed the cover photo on her social media accounts to reflect this. On Monday 17th March, she changed her Facebook cover image to say 'Something Beautiful', in a bold white typeface on a black background.
Along with changing her social media photos, the new artwork has appeared on her official website. Posters for the singer's new era have also been popping up on street corners, with some fans sharing videos of it on social media.
What is 'Something Beautiful' inspired by?
It's no secret Miley has been working on a new visual album, as she revealed in at interview with Harpers Bazaar back in November 2024, when she opened up about working with Mandy director Panos Cosmatos, on her new album, inspired by Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'.
"It was inspired by Pink Floyd’s 'The Wall'," Miley told the publication, continuing: "We really leaned in and so I have this heart-first attachment to it. My idea was making 'The Wall', but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture."
Panos added: "(The album is) more experimental than anything she’s ever done, but in a pop way that I love."
Is her boyfriend Maxx Morando involved?
Yes, according to the Harpers Bazaar interview, Miley said her boyfriend Maxx Morando is involved with the new music. She told them: "I worked with my dad forever. That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much."
When is the album going to be released?
Miley has not yet revealed when the album will be released, or what songs are on it. When the album is released it will be the singer's ninth studio album, and the follow-up to her 2023 iconic album 'Endless Summer Vacation'.

Olly Alexander is expected to release his first solo album under his own name in 2024. The singer told us in an interview in December 2024: "My whole album is almost finished... not quite, but I've got a lot of music there ready to go. So this Eurovision song, I'm just so, so, so excited it's going to be coming soon."

Tate McRae's third album is set for release in February. The album features 15 songs including her hits 'It's OK I'm OK', '2 Hands' and 'Sports Car'.

Lady Gaga teased her seventh album for some time, however in January 2025 she confirmed the album's name previously known as 'LG7' would be called 'Mayhem'. She also confirmed the release date is 7th March. The album features her songs 'Disease' and 'Abracadabra'.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have announced they will be releasing an album together. The pair, who got engaged in December 2024 will release their collaborative album called 'I Said I Love You First' in March 2025.
Dua Lipa - 'Future Nostalgia' fifth anniversary edition

Dua Lipa has announced a special edition of her album 'Future Nostalgia' to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The album was originally released on 27th March just as the UK went into its first lockdown, and features hits such as 'Don't Start Now', 'Levitating' and 'Physical'.
James Arthur - 'Pisces'

James Arthur is set to release his highly anticipated sixth studio album, 'Pisces' in March. He has been teasing his new release since early December, following the release of the first song from the album 'ADHD'.
Perrie

Perrie has announced her album has been finished and will be out this year, however she hasn't revealed what it will be called, or the exact release date. This album will be her first solo album since Little Mix started their hiatus in 2022.
Jax Jones

Jax Jones has revealed he will be releasing his second studio album in 2025, however he has yet to reveal when it will be released or the tracklist. He has however confirmed it will feature some big collaborations.
Ed Sheeran
Release date: Unknown
In March 2025, Ed Sheeran confirmed he has now finished his eighth album and the first song from the album is called 'Azizam'. He has not yet revealed when the album will be released.
