Miley Cyrus drops trailer for upcoming visual album 'Something Beautiful'

It's just over two years since Miley Cyrus released her sun-soaked album 'Endless Summer Vacation', featuring hits such as 'Flowers' and 'Jaded'.
Now, the singer has started to tease a new era, confirming the release date for her new album, along with the full artwork, having previously revealed the new album's name, along with a black and white backlit photo of the singer.
Sharing a more detailed, lighter version of the previous black and white photo, Miley's official Instagram account captioned the photo: 'Miley Cyrus unveils the artwork for her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records. The album features 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Miley Cyrus and Shawn Everett.
'Captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.'

Yes, there is a trailer for the visual album. Miley shared the trailer, along with confirmation that there would be a visual film released in June.
What is Miley Cyrus' new album called?
The new album is called 'Something Beautiful'. Miley has already changed the cover photo on her social media accounts to reflect this. On Monday 17th March, she changed her Facebook cover image to say 'Something Beautiful', in a bold white typeface on a black background.
Along with changing her social media photos, the artwork has appeared on her official website. Posters for the singer's new era have also been popping up on street corners, with some fans sharing videos of it on social media.
What is 'Something Beautiful' inspired by?
It's no secret Miley has been working on a new visual album, as she revealed in an interview with Harpers Bazaar back in November 2024, when she opened up about working with Mandy director Panos Cosmatos, on her new album, inspired by Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'.
"It was inspired by Pink Floyd’s 'The Wall'," Miley told the publication, continuing: "We really leaned in and so I have this heart-first attachment to it. My idea was making 'The Wall', but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture."
Panos added: "(The album is) more experimental than anything she’s ever done, but in a pop way that I love."
Is her boyfriend Maxx Morando involved?
Yes, according to the Harpers Bazaar interview, Miley said her boyfriend Maxx Morando is involved with the new music. She told them: "I worked with my dad forever. That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much."
When is the album going to be released?
Miley has now revealed the album will be released on 30th May 2025.
What is the tracklist for the album?
The list of songs has not yet been confirmed, however Miley has revealed there will be 13 original tracks on it.
