James Arthur reveals which reality TV show he WOULD take part in š¶
He would be great on it
Just last week, James Arthur released his single 'Celebrate' so here at Hits Radio, Fleur East, James and Matt welcomed the singer to chat about his new release, his upcoming album 'Pisces' and what it's liking having a two-year-old.
The singer who found fame after winning The X Factor back in 2012, also revealed to the team that he would be up for doing another reality TV show! And while he didn't rule out any, he said he would be particularly interested in one very popular show.
James Arthur on a reality TV show
It's been 13 years since James Arthur won a reality TV show, so with so many great shows around the team asked him if he'd be up for another.
"I don't know what would be the right fit for me, really," admitted James Arthur, continuing: "I don't, I don't know. I mean probably something like... Iād maybe do something like The Masked Singer one day.
So when James Barr joked: "Would you pretend to be a Mariah or...?"
James Arthur laughed: "Mariah would be a stretch!
"Yeah, yeah, I think Iād probably have a few things in my locker. I hope you're not gonna ask me to try pull some out now, Iād have to warm up you see."
James Arthur's single 'Celebrate'
James is just a couple of months away from the release of his sixth album 'Pisces', which features his latest single 'Celebrate', which he opened up about. He explained that he wrote the song because he's not very good at celebrating.
He explained: "Even when I've had really amazing things happen to me, like Number 1s and things like that, I'm just like... Maybe there's a bit of like not feeling deserving of it or something? I don't know. It became quite apparent after a few songs, songs like 'Celebrate' that I was like maybe making the more sort of personal record."
James Arthur's album 'Pisces'
James went on to explain how his album 'Pisces' came about saying: "When you look into the characteristics of a Pisces, typically they're very creative, sensitive, dreamy... Dreamers, like essentially, so I thought well, that could be the kind of yard stick for all of the songs. As long as they feel like me, what it feels like to be me, then they'll make the cut."
