Alex Warren has confirmed he has a second album on the way! Following the release of hits such as his 2025 Number 1 song 'Ordinary', and this year's 'Fever Dream' and 'Fine Place To Die', Alex is set to release a new album in the summer.
Alex's second album is called 'Wildchild' and is full of songs for every emotion, exploring loss, grief and 'the journey that follows'. He announced the news writing: 'MY NEW ALBUM WILDCHILD. AUGUST 28.' (sic)
What is the name of his new album?
Alex has confirmed the album is called 'Wildchild', he revealed the name comes from the nickname his late dad used to call him. "Growing up, my dad used to call me Wildchild so it’s always had a special meaning and I even have it tattooed on me," he explained.
"Creating this album was really healing, therapeutic and a way for me to continue finding out more about myself.
"This album really shows where I am in my life today and compared to my first album which feels like a man who is broken, this one is a man who's trying to heal. It’s been really nice to be able to confront those feelings and also be able to share them with the world to give everyone a transparent view into my life."

The album will be released on Friday 28th August 2026.
What is the artwork?
Alex has released the artwork which shows him walking in the air, against a blue sky.
What is the tracklist?
Alex has not yet announced the tracklist, however he has released several songs since his last album, so fans will be hoping they make an appearance. Since releasing 'You’ll Be Alright Kid' in July 2025, he has released, 'Fever Dream', 'Fine Place To Die', and his new single 'Passenger'.
Alex also opened up about some of the songs on his album in an interview with Hits Radio. He told Fleur East: "There's a song called ‘I Miss You More’. And that to me it is really, really difficult for me to listen to, I don't even play it live because it's so difficult to sing emotionally.
"When we wrote it, I went to my dad's grave and I played it for... I play my songs when I write them for my parents and I go to their grave and play it. And I just think it's like a beautiful moment. And I just... I bawled my eyes out."

Harry Styles confirmed in January 2026 that he would be releasing his fourth album in March. The album called 'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.' was released on 6th March and features the lead single 'Aperture'. It will be supported by a huge tour later in the year, when he will be performing a record-breaking 12 dates at Wembley in London.
RAYE - 'This Music May Contain Hope'

RAYE announced in January 2026 that her second album would be entitled 'This Music May Contain Hope' and would be released on 27th March 2026! She shared the news on Instagram alongside the album artwork, which shows her holding onto a rope and opening a door in the sky which shows the album's title as if it's the Sun. Fan-favourite 'Where Is My Husband!' appears on the album, as well as emotional track 'Click Clack Symphony'.
Dermot Kennedy - 'The Weight of the Woods'

In January, Dermot Kennedy announced he would be releasing his album 'The Weight of the Woods' in April. The album was created between Ireland and Nashville, and the singer has described the album as "organically" Irish, without trying to force it, he also revealed despite doing work on it in Nashville - home of country music - it wasn't a country album.
