A new series of The Traitors is available to watch now
The Australian version has landed!
Last year, viewers were left gripped as they watched The Traitors for the first time. Following the tense ending, the BBC soon announced it had acquired the rights to show the American version of the series, which was also set in the same Scottish castle.
Now, as we're eagerly awaiting the second UK series, the BBC have dropped The Traitors Australia on BBC iPlayer. Taking to their official press Twitter account last month, they wrote: '👀 Fancy another one? Well, you’ve been pretty faithful… The Traitors Australia descends on @bbcthree and @BBCiPlayer this summer'.
In the Australian version of the series, contestants stay in an historic luxury hotel in the Southern Highlands, where they hope to last the series and share a prize fund worth up to A$250,000.
Amongst the Faithful contestants there are four Traitors, who have been chosen by host Rodger Corser, who is an Australian actor. As with other series of the show, the Traitors must try and make it to the end of the show without being found, allowing them to steal the money from the Faithfuls.
Speaking about the new series, Nasfim Haque, Head of Content at BBC Three said: "The Traitors is an addictively fiendish format and I am so pleased that viewers can get their summer fix of treachery and suspicion as we head Down Under for the Australian version of the show on BBC Three and iPlayer."

How can I watch The Traitors Australia?
The Traitors Australia kicked off on BBC Three at 8pm on Sunday 9th July.
All 12 episodes of the show are available as a boxset on the BBC iPlayer now.
When is The Traitors UK series 2?
The BBC is still looking for contestants for The Traitors series 2. You have until 31st July to apply to be a Faithful, or potentially a Traitor! The launch date of the second series has not yet been announced.
