Although the main series of Squid Game has concluded, the Squid Game brand is living on! As well as rumours that there's going to be an American spin-off, fuelled by the appearance of Cate Blanchett at the end of series three, there's also Squid Game: The Challenge.
After Mai Whelan (Player 287) won the first series last year, bosses were quick to renew the show for a second series, which started in early November, and now they've delighted us with even more exciting news....
Will there be a third series?
Ahead of the launch of series two later this year, Netflix bosses have now confirmed there will a third series of Squid Game: The Challenge.
Can I apply?
You can! Applications for the third series are now open, for both UK and US participants.
The application website states: 'Now it’s your chance to take part in Netflix’s biggest ever social experiment!

How old do you have to be to appear?
Applicants must be 21 years-old or older to apply for the show.
When is it on TV?
There's no word on a start date for the third series just yet, but we imagine it will be later 2026, once casting and filming has taken place.
What channel is it on?
Just like the original drama series, Squid Game: The Challenge airs exclusively on Netflix.
