Applications are open for the next series of SAS: Who Dares Wins 💪
Are you up to the task?
Last updated 5th Apr 2022
It's one of the most popular shows on TV, and despite Ant Middleton being 'dropped' by Channel 4, the brand new seventh series of SAS: Who Dares Wins featuring two America DS is set to begin on Sunday 10th April!
And whilst series seven will take place in the Jordanian desert, instead of Scotland, bosses are now looking for applicants for series eight of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
How do I apply for SAS: Who Dares Wins?
As well as being between the age of 18-44, applicants must also be at least 147cm tall and weigh at least 50kg, as well as NOT currently serving in the armed forces.
According to the application form, all applicants 'must be in peak physical and mental health', with various fitness tests, including the bleep test, sit ups, press ups and the jerry can test being carried out before selection.
The tests carried out will include:
1) Full press ups – a minimum of 44 in 2 minutes
2) Full sits up – a minimum of 50 in 2 minutes
3) Static lift onto a platform 1.45m high. This is a progressive test, which will assess the maximum weight you can lift. This is not a pass or fail test.
4) Jerry can test– carry two 20kg weights over a distance of 120m in two minutes.
5) A Beep test with the level of 10.1 (covering a distance of 20m on each leg). (This is similar to a 1.5 mile run in 9 minutes 30 seconds, although we strongly advise you train in the bleep test rather than a 1.5 mile run.)
Although bosses are yet to confirm the filming location, the application form does say applicants must be available for three weeks in September 2022 on a fully exclusive basis with no other commitments.

Is Ant Middelton still on SAS: Who Dares Wins?
Meanwhile the next series of SAS: Who Dares Wins will go ahead without former Royal Marines solider Ant Middleton.
Back in March last year Channel 4 released a statement confirming they'd parted ways with Ant, it read: "Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
“Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again.”
Ant later broke his silence on his departure from the show, writing on Twitter, 'After 5 incredible years I’ve decided it’s time to move on from SAS Who Dares Wins UK. Big respect to my fellow DS – it’s been a journey I’ll never forget. Thanks to everyone that took part and made the show what it is. Really excited about the future and what’s coming this year.
The brand new series of SAS: Who Dares Wins will begin on Sunday 10th April.
