It was always going to be a big show with the way host Stephen Mulhern talked it up earlier in the day, but what played out on Monday night's (3rd February) episode of Deal or No Deal left both the viewers and contestants in shock and suspense!

It was contestant Nay Nay's turn to take on the Banker, and it was clear to see from the start the Hackney girl was going to go all the way, admitting she didn't have a game plan or special numbers, and believed in her own box. She told Stephen: "What's meant to be will be."

One by one, Paralegal Nay Nay pulled out all of the blue boxes, leaving her with £1,000, £2,000, £3,000, £5,000, £75,000 and the big £100,000, which resulted in a huge offer of £24,550.

Despite her grandmother urging her to take the offer in the audience, Nay Nay was adamant to go all the way, confident she had a big amount in her Number 1 box, going on to turn down another offer of £51,700.

And this turned out to be a good decision, as Nay Nay proceeded to get rid of all of the lower reds, leaving her with the two big ones, £75,000 and £100,000. With the tension high in the studio, the Banker offered Nay Nay the highest offer in the show's history since the reboot, offering her £82,700.

Leaving viewers in shock, Nay Nay yet again chose to turn down the offer, opening her own box and winning a cool £75,000.

After the episode, viewers of the popular quiz show took to social media to express their love for the episode, with many praising Nay Nay for the way she decided to play the game.

One wrote: 'Well done nay nay what a game you had! I have watched deal or no deal from the very beginning and can say I've never seen a game like that! Well done enjoy your winnings', with another adding: 'LOVED THAT but she was playing the game correctly… The only way to win the biggest amount is played to the end'. (sic)

Somebody else added: 'Fair play to Nay Nay on #DealOrNoDeal what a lovely girl! Deserves a big win!', with another writing: 'Nay Nay, thank you so much, what an incredible game, didn’t bottle the 5 box deal, didn’t listen to grand mum, believed in yourself & your game! Congratulations #DealOrNoDeal'. (sic)

Another quipped: 'I am not a tv watching guy, but I happened to catch #DealOrNoDeal on ITV. What game this lady, Nay Nay had. She went right to the end. Turning down deal after deal, right up to declining an £82700 offer for her box. 📦 She eventually walked away with £75000! More than enough for a deposit on her flat! Good game!'. (sic)

Before the episode aired. host Stephen took to social media to tease it was going to be a big one. Sharing a video featuring Nay Nay, he told his followers: 'Don’t miss today’s Deal or No Deal, because THIS is the episode you’re going to be talking about! Twists, tension, and a decision that left everyone speechless. I still can’t believe it!' (sic)

Nay Nay confirmed she's going to use her winnings to put a deposit down for a flat, as well as treating her lovely grandma, who was in the audience supporting her.

Deal or No Deal airs at 4pm every weekday on ITV/STV.
