A ex-subtropical storm called ‘Ernesto’ is forming in the Atlantic Ocean and its heading our way just in time for the weekend.
The low pressure system is due to hit Northern Ireland late-Saturday bringing with it a spell of windy and very wet weather.
By the time it reaches us it will no longer be classed as a storm but we can expect 40mph gusts and up to an inch of rain.
Uncertainty remains over the exact path and timings but the wet weather will last throughout much of Sunday.
The latest Met Office forecast; "wet on Saturday night and at first on Sunday, rain locally heavy. Drying up from the west on Sunday, brighter later. Remaining rather changeable next week."
There is good news if you are planning on watching the boxing at Windsor Park, Carl Frampton's fight 'should' be over in time by the time the heaviest of the rain arrives.
