New Primark store to open in popular Northern Ireland shopping centre

It’s just been confirmed that the popular retailer Primark will open a brand-new store in Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon.
Central Craigavon Limited, owners of the Co Armagh shopping centre have revealed plans for a 30,800sq ft store.
Work is expected to begin this summer, inside the former Debenhams space, and will hopefully open doors later this year.
Rushmere is a strong regional centre between Lurgan and Portadown and comprises 500,000 sq ft of retail and restaurants.
Customers were overjoyed to hear the news as the centre confirmed the news on social media.
One fan wrote: "Great news for the centre..hopefully the start of more stores to come!"
Another added: "Can't wait 5 minutes from my house happy days"
Attracting around 75,000 customers every week, you can shop brands like Dunnes, Next, Boots and JD Sports on site.
Martin Walsh, Rushmere Centre Manager said: “Primark is a fantastic addition to Rushmere. In all our research over the years, Primark is a brand that our customers have been very keen to see, and this announcement is testimony to the success of the centre. We look forward to the opening later in the year.”
A spokesperson from Primark commented: “We are delighted to announce that we will open a new store at the Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon. Doors will open later this year and we are excited to be creating a new shopping experience for our customers in the area.”
