A warning is being issued by police following the theft of medicine from a van.
The substances, which are used to euthanise animals, were taken from the vehicle belonging to a vet, which had been parked outside an address in Frampton on Severn.
Officers are concerned that anyone taking them could become seriously ill or even die as a result.
They are now urging anybody with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the drugs to come forward.
The theft happened between 11pm on Wednesday 31 July and 5am on Thursday 1 August.
Several other vehicles were also broken into in the area overnight, and police are keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV, has information which could assist or who has found the items discarded.
Superintendent Andy Kilmurray said: "We are deeply concerned that these drugs, which will almost certainly prove fatal if taken, are now in circulation.
"We are warning people who may have come across them not to take them but would urge them to come forward to us."
