Stranded Starfish Washed Up On Pembrokeshire Coastline
Tens of thousands of the sea creatures found on local beaches

Thousands of starfish have washed up on beaches across the Pembrokeshire Coastline.
The rare phenomenon is thought to be the result of very high tides and rough seas, leaving the countless amounts of starfish stranded.
Pembrokeshire local Julie Davies was doing a beach clean when she spotted the starfish. She told us: "I'd gone to the strandline to do a #2minutebeachclean.
"Walking up to them was very surreal, seeing a mass of orange and standing by them was both heart breaking and amazing. An incredible sight."
Julie described the sight as "very surreal".
A similar event was seen on Gower beaches last year when rockpools were full of starfish.
Jake Davies, a marine biologist who works for the Angel Shark Project Wales, said: "This type of event of stranding does occur following a big storm along with big tides".
