Man charged in connection to 2021 fatal shooting in south London

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Croydon in 2021
32 year old Cimarron Dume-Gooden of no fixed address, was charged on Monday, 16 June with the murder of Leroy Mitchell, 35, and perverting the course of justice.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 17 June.
Police were called shortly before 05.00hrs on Saturday, 2 October 2021, to reports of a man shot in a car park in Birdhurst Road, after leaving a silent disco in Croydon.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Leroy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
