10-year-old girl knocked over by electric bike in Middlesborough
The two male riders, who were both wearing balaclavas, rode off towards Levick Crescent
A 10-year-old girl is being treated for a suspected broken leg after she was hit by an electric bike in Middlesborough.
She was knocked over by the bike on Endsleigh Drive yesterday (31st October), at around 5:30pm.
The bike, believed to be electric, did not stop following the collision.
The two male riders, who were both wearing balaclavas, rode off towards Levick Crescent.
The girl was taken James Cook University Hospital by ambulance.
As lots of people would have been out and about at this time, ‘Trick or Treating’ for Halloween, police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
