Man arrested after breaking into McDonald's to make a burger
He was detained by police before he could tuck into his tasty meal
Greater Manchester Police have arrested a man after he broke into a McDonald's to make a burger in Bolton.
Officers were alerted to an incident taking place at one of the three branches of the fast food restaurant in the early hours of Saturday morning (February 8th).
When they reached the restaurant, they found that a man had been attempting to break into the establishment by smashing the drive-thru window.
The man was able to climb through the smashed window before being able to make himself a burger.
However, Greater Manchester Police said that the man "wasn't lovin' it", when he was promptly detained by officers - before he was even able to eat the burger.
Police have said that a 43-year-old has been remanded into custody and currently remains with police for questioning.
McDonald's have been contacted for comment in regard to the incident.
