Bob Vylan due to perform at Boardmasters following Glastonbury controversy
The punk-rap duo are continuing to be investigated for comments they made during their Glastonbury set
Controversial punk-rock duo Bob Vylan are due take to the stage at Boardmasters in Newquay today.
They're still being investigated after controversial comments on stage at Glastonbury.
The group will now also headline Torquay's Burn It Down Festival at the end of this month.
Devon & Cornwall Police has told us it will 'support the right to peaceful protests' but 'cannot facilitate activity that places protestors, the public, officers, or the event at physical risk'.
A spokesperson added:
"We will review any incident on a case-by-case basis to determine suitable action."
The force says it has detailed plans to keep festival-goers safe during the event. Police Commander, Superintendent Ben Asprey said:
“We work closely with the event organisers and our partner agencies to make sure everyone attending has a great experience, while staying safe and to keep crime to a minimum."
