Man arrested by police after car crashes into pedestrians in Bath
One person hit has been taken to hospital with serious injuries

A man has been arrested a car hit two pedestrians before hitting a lamp post in Bath on Friday morning (June 6th).
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police were alerted to an incident taking place on the North Parade in Bath at around 3:15am.
When responders arrived, they found that a car had crashed into a lamppost, whilst hitting two pedestrians that had been passing by.
It was established that four people were inside the car at the time of the crash, and the suspected driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit.
The three passengers that had been in the car at the time of the crash were taken to hospital as a precaution for any injuries they sustained.
However, one of the pedestrians has been taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing for information and witnesses to come forward as soon as possible.
