Arrests after teenager dies in Manchester

Police have made three arrests after a 13-year-old boy died in a "distressing" incident in Manchester.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to North Moston at around 17:00BST on Sunday (08 June).

A pub was seen taped off in the Nevin Road area, where forensic officers were carrying out investigations.

Superintendent Marcus Noden said "This is a distressing and heart-breaking incident where a boy has lost his life.

"We are still trying to establish the circumstances around the incident and have a number of scenes in place.

"Officers are looking for information or eye witness accounts from anyone who was in the Nevin Road area of New Moston."

"We will bring updates as we get them as the investigation continues."
