Curtis McCosh joins Melissa Riddell on Cool FM's Weekend Breakfast

You might have heard this dynamic pair on the What's Happening podcast, or perhaps on Cool Goes Quietor Cool Afternoons. But from this Saturday (May 1st) Melissa and Curtis are joining forces for a whole new weekend sound!
With plenty of experience on solo shows throughout the years, this duo will have a laugh co-hosting the weekend breakfast show together
"We are so excited," Melissa shares. "We've been friends for years, we’ve worked together for years and we’ve always wanted the opportunity to do a show together. So this is a really big moment for us and we cannot wait!"
Curtis adds: ""For as long as I’ve been on the radio, I’ve been doing my own show, so I’m so excited to have the chance to share a show with one of my best mates!"
Melissa has been holding the fort since early February, and found the transition from late nights to early mornings surprisingly easy.
"It’s amazing how quickly you can get used to something! I would’ve always said that early mornings weren’t my thing, but having done the show for the past couple months, it definitely does get easier. I just moved to Belfast so I get an extra hour in bed now - it feels like a lie in."
Poor Curtis has all of this ahead of him...so what can we expect to hear this weekend on their first show together?
Curtis jokes that they've been planning this for some time.
"We have LOADS of fun stuff planned, but we can't give too much away just yet, You're going to have to tune in to find out!"
