WATCH: 'We're not fazed by title pressure' Josh Daniels on life at Glenavon
Young midfielder makes his debut as a guest on latest BetMcLean show

One of the Danske Bank Premiership’s most exciting young midfielders – Glenavon’s Josh Daniels – believes he is at a club that can win all of the major honours.
The 22-year-old who joined the Lurgan Blues from Derry City was speaking during his guest debut on our latest BetMcLean football show in partnership with NIFL, now available to view (see link below) on Cool FM’s Facebook page or to download as a podcast.
Daniels says boss Gary Hamilton’s instilled a winning mindset throughout the side but says it is far too early to be talking about titles.
“It's a long season. Last year it came down to the last game,” he says.
“We know it's going to be hard but if we're in and around the mix at Christmas, then the pressure starts to build a bit, but I don't think the boys are fazed by it."
Daniels reflects on their run-up to the end of last season and says they were unlucky not to have been in the title mix.
“Last year we were focusing on Europe,” he says.
“Even when I signed, Gary Hamilton told me we're always trying to get Europe and anything else is a bonus. Last year we didn't have a good Cup run, so we want that as well.
“We didn't win a game from Boxing Day onward, at home, and we still finished third.
“I think if we had have corrected that, we would have been up around the title. Our home form let us down last year and we've corrected it now."
Also guesting this week is Daniels’ former coach at Glenavon, Kris Lindsay, who left Mourneview Park a few weeks ago to take up his first managerial post with Dungannon Swifts.
