Trio of transfers for treble-winning Linfield
Blues already adding to their squad after Irish Cup victory
Treble-winning Linfield have started as they mean to go on …
The Blues have dipped their toe in the transfer market – just a couple of days after adding the Irish Cup to their title and Co Antrim Shield victories.
David Healy has secured former Glentoran start Jordan Stewart on a pre-contract.
The 22-year-old is currently with League One side Swindon Town.
Ex-Linfield midfielder Robbie Garrett returns to Windsor Park after spending the last three seasons at Portadown.
The 29-year-old signs on a two-year deal.
And Andrew Mitchell joins on a three-year contract from Crusaders.
Healy told the Linfield website: “I’d like to welcome Robert, Andrew and Jordan to the club and I’m looking forward to working with them once we return for pre-season training.
“I know our supporters will give the players a warm welcome and I can assure our supporters that we will be aiming to attract other quality players who can strengthen the squad and help us in our aim of trying to bring further success to the club in the coming seasons.”
