Three and easy for Cliftonville in North Belfast derby
Crusaders 0 Cliftonville 3
Goals from Chris Gallagher, Rory Hale and Ben Wilson saw Cliftonville claim their first win at Seaview against North Belfast rivals Crusaders.
The victory moves Jim Magilton's side up to fifth in the Sports Direct Irish Premiership table as they secured their first three points in almost a month with a dominant performance away from home.
After a strong start to the season, the Reds had faltered somewhat - losing at Linfield, being held to a draw at home by champions Larne and then being on the wrong side of a 1-0 scoreline away to Glentoran the last time out.
But from the outset of this match, they looked the better team and went in front when Gallagher slammed home a well-worked corner from Ronan Doherty after just 18 minutes.
They doubled that advantage shortly before half-time when the impressive Gallagher powered forward before teeing up Hale and the Cliftonville skipper produced a low finish from 18 yards into the bottom left hand corner that gave Crues keeper Jonny Tuffey no chance.
In between times, Wilson saw his goal ruled out for offside that looked to be the incorrect call on second viewing.
It then took just 10 minutes of the second half for the visitors to secure all three points when Wilson did get his goal, latching onto Hale's ball in from the right to drive low past Tuffey from 10 yards.
Despite Crusaders having the opportunity to go top with a win, it's now three league games in a row - and four in all competitions - without a victory for Stephen Baxter's side.
They're at home to Glenavon on Saturday, while Cliftonville go to bottom side Ballymena United.
