T20 World Cup: Ireland qualify for Super 12s after famous Windies win
Ireland are into the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup after a remarkable nine-wicket win over two-time champions West Indies in Australia.
It was some performance from Heinreich Malan's side and means they advance to the next stage for the first time since 2009.
Belfast's Paul Stirling was among the most impressive players on show - after he hit 32-ball half century during an unbroken second-wicket partnership of 79 with Lorcan Tucker.
After losing their opener to Zimbabwe, Ireland then beat Scotland.
They are currently top of Group B as a result - but depending on what happens in the final group game between Zimbabwe and Scotland - they could slip to second.
If that happens they will be in England's Super 12s pool.
