T20 series: Ireland lose opener at Stormont

Ireland were beaten by New Zealand at Stormont yesterday (Monday) in the first of their T20 International series.

The tourists batted first and and set Ireland a target of 174 to reach.

The hosts, though, were bowled out for 142 to see New Zealand win by 31 runs.

The two sides meet again tomorrow.
