NI midfielder McNair finally secures Boro move
Paddy McNair finally sealed his £5m move to Middlesbrough yesterday (Tuesday).
The Northern Ireland midfielder put pen to paper on a four-year deal after passing his medical and agreeing personal terms.
Boro boss Tony Pulis made the former Man United player a key transfer target after being impressed with him in the heart of Sunderland’s midfield last season.
McNair joins a Championship side which just missed out on promotion to the Premiership – finishing fifth in the table to reach the play-offs.
