Ulster will welcome Benetton Rugby to the Kingpsan for their home pre-season fixture later this year.

The Italian side will travel to Belfast to take on Richie Murphy’s men in next season’s home warm-up fixture on Saturday September 7th, with a 5pm kick-off.

Following confirmation of an away friendly game with Exeter Chiefs, Ulster today announced their United Rugby Championship opponents will make the journey ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The Bank of Ireland pre-season friendly will see the province face the Treviso-based club who they most recently beat 38-34 in Round 15 of the URC – one of a run of four successive recent wins for newly-confirmed Head Coach, Richie Murphy.

Currently sat four points apart in this season’s league, Ulster also faced Treviso in a pre-season friendly at the start of this season, which saw a narrow defeat for the travelling team.

Ulster finish their URC regular season matches this weekend, taking on inter-provincial rivals and current league leaders Munster in Limerick's Thomond Park on Saturday at 5.15pm.
