Rea down to fourth in World Superbike Championship standings
Jonathan Rea has had a disappointing showing in the World Superbikes weekend in Indonesia.
The Northern Ireland rider had qualified fifth but was then slapped with a three-place grid penalty, due to slow riding in Superpole qualifying.
The 36-year old struggled on his Kawasaki and finished ninth after a last-lap battle with team-mate Alex Lowes.
The result comes after Rea ended in seventh and eighth places respectively at Philip Island in Australia last weekend.
He is now 49 points off Bautista.
