O'Neill looks for his players to end disappointing campaign on a high
Michael O'Neill says he is looking for his players to end what has been a disappointing Euro 2024 qualification series on a high note.
Denmark come to Windsor Park on Monday night for 7:45 kick-off.
Denmark have already secured Group H's top spot, whilst Northern Ireland have lost seven of their nine games in this series.
That included a 4-0 reversal on Friday to Finland.
Ahead of the match, boss O'Neill says he expects his players to show pride in their performance.
“Naturally, people will be questioning the character of the squad following the game in Helsinki, but I expect the players to show their character against the Danes.
“The emphasis in front of a full house at the National Stadium tonight will be on showing the best side of ourselves.”
