Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill is prepared to give some Under-21 players their full senior debut in Saturday's friendly with South Korea.

"The Under-21s play Thursday vs Spain so there's always the option to add one or two players from that squad," said O'Neill.

"I think it's important to have them in because we think they can contribute. They have a game on Monday so we'll have to balance that.

"We'll go to the game vs Spain and then we'll make decisions. Whether that's just in terms of being on the bench or potential game time, it's hard to say."

With injury doubts over several key personnel, O'Neill says the match with South Korea is an ideal time to make use of some of his younger players.

"The game will provide an opportunity for some of those players. I think for the likes of Jordan Jones and Jamal Lewis, as well as one or two others, there are opportunities there," said O'Neill.

"Jamal's been very impressive and looked very good and very athletic. We've only had the two training sessions so I'm looking forward to seeing him in the game."

South Korea are preparing for the World Cup, where they've been drawn alongside Germany, Sweden and Mexico.

They'll kick off versus Northern Ireland at 2 o'clock at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Saturday
