The Belfast Giants are back to the top of the Elite League standings.

That’s after back-to-back away wins at the weekend.

They beat Manchester 6-4 on Saturday and then followed this up last night with a 3-2 win over Sheffield Steelers, thanks to goals from Colin Shields, Brendan Connelly and Darcy Murphy.

The Giants stay on the road with another round of back-to-back games next weekend.

First up on Saturday is the Fife Flyers in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final 1st Leg, face-off 7:15pm, followed by an Elite League clash on Sunday against the Nottingham Panthers, face-off 4pm.

The Giants next home games are against the Edinburgh Capitals and Braehead Clan on Friday, December 29 and Saturday, December 30 respectively.
