Northern Ireland’s women will take on the Republic in a World Cup qualifying derby tonight.

The two will be facing each other for the first time since 2000.

They will meet at Mourneview Park in Lurgan with Alfie Wylie’s side aiming to put behind them a disappointing Group Three opener which they lost 4-1 to Norway.

But Northern Ireland go into the game without defender Cathy Hyndman and Everton striker Simone Magill who are both injured.

Wylie is hoping for a big crowd to get behind his side and help them get their first points of the campaign.

Entry to the game is free.

Kick off is 7.30
