NI call-up for Charlton's Vassell
Striker drafted into squad for Nations League games
Michael O’Neill has called up Kyle Vassell for the first time.
The striker who plays for Championship side, Rotherham, qualifies for Northern Ireland through having a Fermanagh-born grandfather.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Millers in the summer after helping Blackpool win promotion from League Two.
Vassell will join the squads for the Nations League games against Austria (Saturday) and Bosnia (next Monday).
Two others, Niall McGinn and Jamie Ward have pulled out.
McGinn has a hip injury while Ward who joined Charlton on loan from Nottingham Forest last month has decided to stay with his club to work on his fitness.
