Warrenpoint sealed a vital win in the Danske Bank Premiership last night after beating Ballinamallard 2-1 at Milltown.

Victory lifted Matthew Tipton’s side six points clear of the Mallards who are now rooted to the foot of the table with just a single point from 10 games.

Alan Davidson grabbed the winner late on after Darren Murray’s opener.

Shane McGinty got the Mallards strike.

Meanwhile, the pick of today’s games is at the Showgrounds where table-toppers Coleraine entertain Linfield.

Oran Kearney’s young side are flying at the moment having won eight of their nine games.

There is also a tasty tie at Seaview with Crusaders playing Glenavon.

Both sides sit on 20 points and have both the Bannsiders and the Blues in their sights.

Elsewhere, Ballymena me Ards with Carrick at home to a Dungannon Swifts side that have lost just once in their last five games.
