Johnston races to first IoM TT win
Fermanagh man picks up maiden victory
Fermanagh rider Lee Johnston is celebrating his first-ever victory at the Isle of Man TT.
The 30-year-old four-time North West 200 winner topped the Supersport race last night (Monday) – ahead of James Hillier and Peter Hickman.
Afterwards, an emotional Johnston dedicated his success to his late dad, Everett, who died in 2016.
Yesterday’s racing was overshadowed with the death of popular English rider Daley Mathison.
He crashed on the third lap of the four-lap Superbike race.
The 27 year old was a regular at the North West.
