Michael Conlan has revealed he would love to fight at Windsor Park – alongside his big boxing pal, Carl Frampton.

The Belfast featherweight’s next fight is in New York in just over a week’s time.

After that he will be preparing for a huge homecoming bout on June 30 at the SSE Arena in Belfast.

But speaking to Downtown & Cool FM, he said he would seriously consider an undercard offer for Frampton’s Windsor showdown a month later.

“If I had to box on it and if I had the permission from Top Rank – 100 per cent I would jump at the chance.

“Maybe not, though, because I am fighting three times in a row here so and I have a baby due – maybe a bit too soon – but I would love to fight on it if I could.”

Conlan also paid tribute to Frampton, who was full of praise for him recently.

He said he was humbled by the comments.

“It’s an honour – when Carl says something like that it kind of takes me back a bit because of all he has achieved,” he said.

“He has set the bar high."
