Rory McIlroy begins his bid for Masters glory tonight.
Victory in Augusta will put the Holywood superstar among an elite group of golfing greats who have completed a magnificent career grand slam.
McIlroy says he is ready for the challenge.
“I had planned to play a heavy schedule last year heading into this tournament and injuries sort of set me back,” he said.
“This is my ninth start this year of those eight tournaments I have had three top 3s, one win and I have played well- there have been really good stretches of golf there
“I know that all is right there.”
The 28-year-old tees off at 6.38pm.
