Glentoran’s bid for a post-split top six finish continues tonight when they take on Warrenpoint at the Oval.

It has been a disappointing season so far for the Glens.

But they are still in with a chance of finishing in the top half of the Danske Bank Premiership and they take on Coleraine at the weekend for a place in the semi-finals of the Irish Cup.

New boss Ronnie McFall has had a 100% record so far – one win from his first game in charge.

However, he says they’ll not be getting too far ahead of themselves.

“When they asked me to come back they never set me any target,” he told Downtown & Cool FM.

“So it is the old cliché, we will just take one game as it comes and try to pick up as many points in the league and obviously prepare for the Irish Cup and we will see where we end up.”

McFall comes up against Point boss Matthew Tipton - the player he brought to Shamrock Park eight years ago.

Elsewhere, Ards take on Ballymena and boss Colin Nixon says survival in the league is still not guaranteed and that staying up is a No. 1 priority.

“There are 10 games to go – it can turn as I’ve learnt,” he said.

“I can tell you something we will be working very hard to stay in the league.”

Meanwhile, game of the night could be at Windsor Park where Linfield meet third-place Glenavon.

Carrick entertain Dungannon Swifts.

All of the games kick off at 7.45
