Giants set for Elite League start
Nottingham Panthers await Adam Keefe's side at SSE Arena
The Belfast Giants begin their Elite League campaign tonight (Wednesday).
They face the Nottingham Panthers at the SSE (face-off 7 o’clock).
It has been a perfect start for Adam Keefe’s side in the Challenge Cup – and he is hoping they can replicate that form in the Elite League.
Keefe told Downtown and Cool FM that he is hoping new signing Hunter Bishop will feature.
“He is looking good, that is for sure,” he said.
“Obviously we don’t want to rush him.
“We want to make sure he is healthy before we put him into the firing line.
“I think he has got to get a couple more skates under his belt and we will see how he feels.
“If he is available and he wants to play, he’ll be in line-up."
