Giants see off Stars in opening win
Baun double helps Belfast side to Dundee victory
The Belfast Giants are off to a flier in their defence of the Challenge Cup.
They beat Dundee Stars 4-2 on Saturday in their Group B opener.
Netminder, Tyler Beskoronwany was man of the match in a game which saw the Giants dominant from the off.
Goals from Jim Vandermeer, David Rutherford and a brace from Kyle Baun gave Adam Keefe’s side victory.
Next up for the Giants is the Fife Flyers tonight (6.30) in a second Challenge Cup game.
