Giants' Continental Cup bid off and running - in some style
Adam Keefe's side hammer Croatian champions in semis
The Belfast Giants have got their Continental Cup campaign off to a flier.
They thrashed Croatian champions Medvescak Zagreb 4-0 last night at the SSE Arena inBelfast.
Goals from Jim Vandermeer, Lewis Hook, Dustin Johner and Pat Dwyer helped the Giants seal a memorable win.
The Giants’ victorysees the Belfast side sit joint-top of the Semi-Final group following GKS Katowice of Poland’s 4-0 win against Ritten of Italy earlier on Thursday.
And Ritten is next up for Adam Keefe’s side.
