An injury-hit Belfast Giants secured a much-needed Elite League win last night (Sunday) after they came from 2-0 down to beat Coventry Blaze 5-3.

Having lost away to the Guildford Flames on Saturday, Adam Keefe's side were determined not to suffer back-to-back defeats.

They fell 2-0 behind in the first period before goals from Will Cullen and Lewis Hook tied the game in the second.

The Blaze struck back in the third for a 3-2 lead before an equaliser from Darik Angeli and a double from Steve Owre sealed the win.

Next up for the Giants are home games against Manchester Storm on Saturday (December 3) and Sunday
