Danske Bank Irish Premiership: no change at top as Linfield and Cliftonville win but Warrenpoint are relegated

Linfield beat Crusaders 2-1 at Seaview last night (Tuesday) to stay top of the Danske Bank Irish Premiership.

Goals from Jimmy Callacher (main pic) and Ethan Devine (below) sealed the win for the Blues to keep them one point clear of Cliftonville who won 2-1 at Coleraine.

It means Cliftonville now have 78 points - seven points clear of third-place Glentoran who drew 0-0 with Larne.

Elsewhere, Warrenpoint were relegated.

They won 1-0 away at Ballymena but nearest rivals Portadown got the point they needed to avoid the automatic drop after drawing 0-0 with Dungannon Swifts.

Meanwhile, Glenavon won 1-0 at Carrick Rangers.
