Crusaders see off Larne to clinch Charity Shield

Crusaders beat Larne 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to claim the NIFL Charity Shield.

The north Belfast visitors took the lead on 49 minutes when Jarlath O'Rourke headed home Lloyd Anderson's ball.

The win was secured on 85 minutes when James Teelan, recently signed from Newry City, doubled the advantage, scoring on his debut for Stephen Baxter's side.

It is the second successive year where Stephen Baxter's side have won the season's curtain-raiser.
