Amy Broadhurst, Aidan Walsh, Dylan Eagleson and Jude Gallagher have become the latest Northern Ireland gold medallists at the Commonwealth Games.

World champion Broadhurst was excellent in the lightweight decider, beating England's Gemma Richardson by a unanimous decision on the judge's scorecards.

Bangor's Eagleson, 19, produced a superlative display to take a unanimous decision over Abraham Mensah of Ghana in the 54kg bantamweight section.

Aidan Walsh went one better than four years ago by taking top spot in the light middleweight section. He beat Mozambique's Tiago Muxanga by unanimous decision.

Earlier, Gallagher was awarded gold in the featherweight division after his scheduled opponent for this evening, Ghana's Joseph Commey was ruled medically unfit.

Elsewhere, light-flyweight Carly McNaul was beaten by World Champion Zareen Nikhat from India and had to settle for silver for the second Commonwealth ~Games in succession.
