Co Antrim Shield: Ballymena take on Linfield while holders Crusaders entertain Larne
Healy expecting a tough encounter at the Showgrounds
The Danske Bank Premiership’s top two sides will battle it out tonight (Tuesday) for a place in the final of the County Antrim Shield.
Ballymena, in second spot, take on leaders Linfield (main pic quarter finals) at the Showgrounds.
Blues boss David Healy said he expected a challenging game.
“Davy (Jeffrey) has got his players playing in a formation that is difficult to play against,” he said.
“It’ll be a tough game that’s for sure.”
The Sky Blues are aiming to reach their second straight final.
Last time around they lost 4-2 to Crusaders.
Jeffrey said he was developing a young side and was looking forward to seeing them mature on the pitch.
In the other semi, the Crues host Championship high-fliers, Larne.
Both games kick off at 7.45.
