Linfield's bid to reach the Champions League group stages is over.

The Blues were beaten 8-0 by Bodø/Glimt last night (Wednesday) in Norway - to leave the aggregate score 8-1 over two legs in the second round qualifier.

Linfield were 1-0 up from the first leg at Windsor park but could not contain the home side - particularly after Kirk Millar was sent off for handball after just 20 minutes of play.

They now drop down to Europa League qualifying - and will now face Swiss champions, FC Zurich in a third-round qualifier.
