Burnett targets title success in Belfast

Belfast bantamweight Ryan Burnett is vowing to win a world title in front of a home crowd at the SSE.
He's up against IBF champion Lee Haskins on the 10th of June.
"Knowing Belfast, it's going to be a great atmosphere. It's the sort of place that gets behind their own. I think there will be a huge crowd there watching me win a world title," he said.
"I just knew I'd be back in Belfast, but I wasn't sure how it was going to come about. I knew if I kept my head down and worked hard it would happen."
The 24-year-old also paid tribute to his family for their support.
"They always knew it was going to come, and they always had great belief in me. This fight was something they just expected. They knew it was going to happen."
Burnett also says his opponent Lee Haskins deserves credit for his career.
"How could you not have respect for him? He's only been beaten once in 9 years, he's defended his title. It would be silly for me not to respect that."
However, after 16 fights and 16 wins, Burnett is justifiably confident.
"I entered this game to become a world champion. Now I'm here and the opportunity has come. When hard work meets opportunity, then you'll see a new world champion."
