British Snooker Open: Allen misses out on title after 10-7 defeat in final
Mark Allen's British Open title hopes are over.
The Antrim star lost 10-7 to Ryan Day in the final in Milton Keynes last night (Sunday).
Allen went into the match as favourite after two superb wins over Judd Trump and Mark Selby in the run-up.
And he lived up to that tag in the early exchanges when he rattled in two century breaks.
However, Day took four frames in a row to win the tournament and a first prize of £100,000
