Mark Allen is into the quarter finals of the British Open after a 4-3 win over World Number Two, Judd Trump.

It was a superb performance from the Antrim star in Milton Keynes.

Had Trump won, he would have gone to the top of the rankings.

Allen is now set to face Mark Selby for a place in the semis.

Selby pocketed a 147 in his win over Jack Lisowski.

Meanwhile, Antrim player Jordan Brown bowed out of the tournament after losing to Noppon Saengkham.
