Championship sides Annagh United and Loughgall are celebrating famous wins in the BetMcLean League Cup.

That is after they knocked out Larne and Glenavon respectively at the second round stage last night (Tuesday).

Portadown-based Annagh beat Larne 2-1 while Loughgall won by the same scoreline at Mourneview Park.

Elsewhere, holders Cliftonville are safely through after hammering Carrick 6-0.

Glentoran also bagged six goals at home to Warrenpoint.

In addition, there were wins for Newry City, Coleraine, and Dungannon Swifts who beat Portadown after extra time.
